Strong Family framework
There are many ways to serve the vulnerable.
What we need is a biblical framework to apply that is specific to our community.
We believe that for families to flourish they need to be holistically cared for in their own local community together. Families experience comprehensive care in all dimensions of life; they are uplifted and supported by their community and empowered through local leadership.
This alignment fosters dignity, ownership, and long-term impact.
Local:
Biblical Principle:
The local church is God’s vessel for transformation in every community
Scripture:
“You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” — Acts 1:8
“And I also say to you... on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” — Matthew 16:18
Reflection:
Transformation begins right where people live. God uses local believers and churches to be salt and light. A local expression of faith ensures that families are strengthened in a way that reflects their context and culture.
Community:
Biblical Principle:
We were created for community, and God’s redemptive work happens in fellowship.
Scripture:
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27
Reflection:
The early church shared everything, prayed together, and met each other’s needs. God's transformation is lived out in the context of community—where love, accountability, and mutual support flourish
Holistic:
Biblical Principle:
God cares for the whole person—body, soul, and spirit.
Scripture:
“May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless...” — 1 Thessalonians 5:23
Jesus said, ‘I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.’ — John 10:10
Reflection:
God's work in families is never partial. Jesus healed bodies, forgave sins, restored relationships, and called people into community. A biblical approach must be holistic restoring every part of life to God's intended design.
